Ni Hao!

Ni hao and welcome to our blog! (I think that may have been the most ridiculous sentence I've ever written). As things are always hoppin' around here, we have chosen what we feel to be an appropriate name for this blog site. We hope you will enjoy catching up on all of the latest Langlois happening's and will revisit our blog frequently.

Leapin', leapin', leapin' with pride...for Ryan!

CONGRATULATIONS to Parkridge Elementary's newest 2nd grade Student of the Month...Ryan Langlois! This was one of those days when God blesses the parents with a pat on the back...Dave and I practically burst-ed with pride this morning at the ceremony! As part of the school's "Character Counts" program, students are chosed based on demonstration of 6 pillars of character...Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship. Ryan got his picture taken for the front office wall and a certificate and t-shirt for all his hard work! Way to go Ryan!!!!

The Princess and the Pea!

Once upon a time a beautiful PTP (Potty-Training Princess), could not sleep. The bars of her crib kept her from using her new-found potty skills at night. She spent several nights hollering her frustration throughout her father's kingdom to no avail. Following several weeks of sleepless nights, it finally occured to King David and Queen Janelle that she needed the freedom of a new Princess bed to allow her access to "the royal throne!" King David called for the removal of the PTP's baby crib and construction of a brand new "big girl princess bed". And as you can see, Princess Joy found happiness once again with her new royal accommodations and they all lived happily ever after!
